iCloud Backup can be deleted

I learned something new today:
From iCloud Terms and Agreement:

"Additional Information
If you haven't backed up your device to iCloud for a period of 180 days or longer, Apple reserves the right to delete the backups associated with that device. Review the iCloud Terms and Conditions for more information."

While connecting my new 128gb iPad, this caught my eye. I didn't know any of my ipad backups could be deleted. Now I know :-)
